A compact, handy stroller for shopping that fits a small car boot (under 150)

21 Nov 2019

Hello.

Can you help me to choose a stroller, or an umbrella stroller, within my 150 budget, please? I need a stroller for running quick errands and shopping, so it must be small enough to fit my small car boot. The only must-haves would be a large hood and a lie-flat recline. I want something small and handy. 🙂

Thank you very much for your help.

Hello!

It depends on how small you imagine your compact stroller to be 😉 If you are happy with an ordinary 'compact' size and a quick, flat fold, I'd start with the Kinderkraft Grande, the G-Mini Move or the Baby Design Coco (depending on the availability in your country).

I think the Cam Curvi, together with the Espiro Nano, would be a nice middle ground (not ultra-compact, but smaller than an average compact stroller). If you are after something even smaller and more compact, check the affordable Kinderkraft Mini Dot, or the Kinderkraft Indy. Alternatively, the Brevi Mini Large offers a bit different - actually quite specific design, but it is a small stroller - I think maybe exactly what you're looking for.

I have to mention one thing: more minimalistic stroller/umbrella stroller = smaller hood. IF you insist on a super-compact stroller, its canopy just WILL be smaller. On the other hand, if you are after a bigger hood, I recommend those strollers I have mentioned first, or something similar in size (it is a good compromise between the lightness + compactness, and the size of the canopy + total length of the seat).

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
