A lightweight secondary stroller to go with my BJ City Elite. Compact and as cheap as possible.

Hello. 🙂

I would appreciate advice on a stroller suitable for outdoor walks. We already have a Baby Jogger City Elite - a great stroller that can handle all sorts of terrains. I like its fold, the hood, the recline, almost everything - apart from the weight. I found it very heavy to take in and out of the car on my own. There is no lift or space to leave my stroller without getting them up the stairs to the flat where we live. Therefore, I would like another - secondary stroller that is much more lightweight.

I want a stroller with a flat recline so that the child can sleep in it. The hood needs to be sufficiently long. It also must be able to cope with some terrain (uneven surfaces) and an older child. Most importantly, I need a stroller that is more lightweight, more compact, and easier to transport than our BJ City Elite. My budget is 200, no more than 250 - the cheaper, the better. 😅

Thank you! 🙂

Hello!

You are right. The Baby Jogger City Elite is a great stroller. It may be a difficult task to match the drivability, spaciousness, and overall practicality of the City Elite with a compact, smart, and cheaper stroller. Don't expect anything more than a small-in-size, secondary stroller, simple as that.

First to look at would be the small, ultra-compact Cybex Eezy S+, or its cheaper 'brother' CBX Etu Plus. These strollers feature wheels that are more suitable for what you need (meaning bigger than average). Also worth considering is also the stylish and stable (thanks to those larger double wheels) GB Qbit Plus.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
