A more compact stroller after the Britax Go Next - for winter and damaged sidewalks

04 Dec 2019

Good afternoon.

Can you recommend a travel system that can handle winter and the usually horrible state of our sidewalks, please? I already have the Britax Go Next 3in1 stroller system, but I want to sell it because the components I don't use anymore after the first months (like the carrycot, car seat) take up a lot of my (limited) storage space. Therefore, I am thinking of replacing the Next with something else - a more compact pushchair, perhaps.

Thank you.

Hi!

A second, more compact pushchair able to handle winter and uneven sidewalks should have larger high-quality wheels. Taking the more compact fold into account, I would look at the Emmaljunga NXT30, and the Britax B-Motion Plus. Alternatively, there is also the Baby Jogger City Elite, or check out some of the Mountain Buggy three-wheelers.

Looking at cheaper models, there is the Lionelo Annet Tour as a possible option.

I would also like to add that the weight and driveability of your Britax Go Next are so good that, maybe - and it's just an idea - if you like it in the pushchair mode, and only the storing of other components is difficult for you... How about only selling the carrycot and the car seat? You will probably not get a load of money for them, but no more storage problems - and you never know, it will perhaps help someone else (who doesn't need the whole set).

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
