Hello Eli 🙂

Could you please advise a pushchair, that would:
- have at least a 25 kg weight capacity in the seat- have foam or rubber (puncture-free) wheels- cost less than 200 pounds
Thank you 🙂

Hi there!

I am gonna start by suggesting getting a pre-loved pushchair, best in what you want would probably be a Baby Jogger model. With a second-hand one, you will fit your price while having a high-quality, spacious, and nice-to-push pushchair; because one thing is to have a model claiming to accept 25 kg in the seat, and a second is if such a child will fit in it. A City Elite or a City Mini GT (or, maybe, a reversible City Versa GT) would be my first pre-loved choices. Those are one of the very few ones that would actually truly fit also your other requirements (maybe also a Mountain Buggy three-wheeler, but those are even more expensive even pre-loved...).

To the new ones - in this price range, realistically being ok with a 25kg child on board, there is pretty much nothing. I would start with max. 20 kg Britax B-Motion 4 Plus - because of the generous space in the seat. Gesslein S4 Air is also a nice pushchair that can handle a lot (claiming 20 kg in the seat) - it's high-quality and spacious, but a bit more expensive... look, if you'll find a nice offer where you live. From the cheaper ones, a Lionelo Annet is claiming 22 kg in the seat...

To wrap it up, I will remind you that the weight capacity is not all there is. It is truly funny that some pushchairs claim a very high capacity, but not all of them can actually accommodate a large toddler. The space in the seat is so much more important than a number on a paper... Also, count on the fact that the basket also has some weight capacity, and if you don't fill it up, you can actually 'overload' the seat a bit. In your price range (but not just there), it's actually quite hard to find a pushchair with a 25+ kg weight capacity - even from those more expensive models, and, on the other hand, I had two kids on a single, non-high-weight-capacity pushchair (in some situations) and it managed just fine. I, therefore, recommend rather looking at quality brands and spaciousness than a weight capacity itself.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
