A rocking retro-type pram (Roan Marita style) with INSERT SOFT CARRYCOT for the baby. Is there such?

16 Jul 2020

Greetings, Eli,

I want to ask, if there is some kind of a rocking pram similar to the Roan Marita, design-wise, that'd feature not a conventional, hard-base carrycot that is separate, but a soft bag/soft insert carrycot to use from newborn?

Thank you for your answer.

Hello!

Do you need it to be truly vintage-style, retro-looking? Because if not, I have something that is even good quality and driveability-wise - the Gesslein F10. A high-quality, functional, and sturdy pram, but in a more modern look - the only thing making him a little bit retro would be those four large, fixed wheels.

From the real retro-style prams, I would suggest looking at the Inglesina Magnum - a pram with a seat convertible to a lay-flat almost-carrycot. Even shaped like a carrycot, I don't find it as comfortable as a real one, so use with a soft insert bag would be better in this case. And you don't have to store any separate carrycot as well... So this could be what you're looking for.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
