A stroller system suitable from birth, lightweight&compact&which other don't have :-) No price limit

Hello, Eli,

Could you recommend a good-looking stroller system that is not to be seen everywhere? The bassinet doesn't need to be the biggest - it will be a winter baby, so I already learned it would fit in pretty much any size of a carrycot 🙂 The seat unit should, however, fold with the chassis, and the folded package shouldn't be too heavy. I am rather tall (170 cm), but on the thin side, so I don't want to end up not being able to lift it in my car. The type of the seat unit (ergonomic or lay-flat) doesn't matter much to me, and also the wheels don't - they don't need to be the largest, I am gonna use it in the city sidewalks.

With my first, I had a Joolz, but I found the rear wheels to be unnecessarily large, and also, it was too bulky folded. Also, it's a "mainstream" model; every other mom has it here... SO I would rather not buy something like a Cybex Priam or Bugaboo Fox, those are just like that in this aspect...

I looked at the Seed Papilio, some of the Stokke models, the Mima Xari, the Gesslein FX4, but none was a 100% yes yet. Can you recommend something to me? I don't have any price limit - I will use the stroller every day, I want something good. I suppose about 1.5 half year in such a reversible model; then, we will move on to something lighter and non-reversible. I just want this one to not annoy me after a month 🙂 I will be glad to be recommended some limited or special editions, not even available to me in my country - I have means to get them or travel for them, if necessary 🙂

THANK YOU ❤️❤️

Hi there!

If price nor availability are not limiting you, the Seed Papilio you mention is actually a very good choice to make in your case - almost nobody has it (I almost didn't see it even when abroad, traveling), and the driveability is seriously great. On the other hand, it's not the lightest you can get, but it's totally OK for the loading, mainly if you decided to fold it with the seat removed in the end (it's so even more compact that way).

Also, the Gesslein FX4 is also an excellent choice - a high-quality, new model that almost nobody has, and not heavy at all! So, for sure, one of the top choices for you.

I will also recommend the Uppabbay Cruz - the newest generation is not that spread out - or well, it is in the US, but not much in Europe. And it's a sturdy, high-quality, good-looking and urban-practical.

And two completely new models to mention I saved for the end (I mean, people still don't have these yet - or not as much) - the Mamas&Papas Strada (looks great to me!), and the great-to-push Nuna Triv, also very liked in the USA…

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
