a stroller expert answers:

A stroller system with soft carrycots and REVERSIBLE seat units - for twins

26 Feb 2020

Hello.

I would like to ask which suitable twin stroller (system) allows you to attach the seats in both directions. I am planning to purchase a stroller with soft carrycots, instead of a conventional 2in1 stroller system with separate hard-base carrycots... But with the usual non-reversible seats I keep bumping into, I would be worried not to be able to keep a close eye on such young babies, so I don't want to have them facing forward…

Thank you very much for your reply.

Hi!

One of the most popular and renowned stroller - the Bugaboo Donkey - offers two full-featured and reversible seats together with carrycots, which are, however, separate - even though only sets of fabrics that you attach on the same frame as the seat units. One of the top options, yet one of the most expensive ones as well.

If you truly prefer the soft carrycots, I would recommend the Valco Snap Ultra Duo. This stroller is sufficiently lightweight and suitable for twins from birth, as well as for the insert soft carrycots.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
