An all-terrain + jogging stroller with enough space for a toddler. TFK, Thule..?

17 Jul 2020

Greetings,

I am considering a stroller change. We moved to a more terrainous area, and I am also thinking about running with the stroller. I own the Valco Snap 4 Sport, which KIND OF can stand the terrain if I don't expect much, but it's certainly not good for jogging. Also, my boy is 1.5 years old, but his size is closer to a 3-year-old, so I want something with a lot of space inside the seat.

I am thinking about a TFK or a Thule, but since the prices are quite high with these, I probably ill get a used one. I need your advice as to which model to look at.

Thank you so much,
Katy

Hello!

The TFK brand, as well as the Thule brand, are brands really high-quality and terrain + sports capable - so a nice choice, really! I am to recommend a particular model, I would look at the TFK Joggster Trail in the first place - it seems to be the best weight- and functionality-wise to me. Also, it features a leg rest adjustment, and overall it's very well made, with nice details and small extra features.

From Thule, I would probably only take the Thule Urban Glide 2, if you'll find a pre-loved one. It's good for every day as well as for light jogging - but take into account a not-so-upright sitting position and no leg rest adjustability.

My personal choice would, however, probably be the awesome-to-push Baby Jogger City Elite, or the even more terrain- and jogging-capable Baby Jogger Summit X3 (even though, this one also has a non-adjustable leg rest). The quality and the fo and totally worth it...

All the above-mentioned are truly spacious enough even for a very large kid, so there I would not be worried.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
