It all depends on whether you need Isofix base or not. If the answer is yes, then the best option is the Joie Trillo Shield. As a test winner, this car seat is really comfy and safe. We made the most of the shield, so with this car seat category, I do recommend getting such a type. The Joie Transcend could be your choice if you do not need the Isofix.
There are not many quality, safe-tested car seats without shields available within your budget. Looking at cheaper options, I can only recommend looking at the Safety 1st brand (belonging under the Maxi-Cosi brand)…
