EasyGo Optimo Air, or which system under 500EUR for the city + small elevator fit + spacious seat?

29 Apr 2020

Hello,

We are expecting a baby in September. I am, however, already looking at stroller systems, but we have a small elevator (circa 105x63). I would want my son to be there through the winter - a carrycot large enough for a footmuff, a blanket, etc., and I would also want a spacious-enough seat unit part. We live in the city, but there are broken sidewalks and such as well, and we also like to walk in a forest park not too far from here.

I would be happy for any other suggestion 🙂 It shouldn't be more than 500 EUR.

Thank you

Hey there!

If we're talking about pavements in really bad shape, that is pretty much an all-terrain ride. Also, you wish for a spacious seat unit, which means I must say I would not choose the model you suggested. EasyGo Optimo Air has nice air-filled wheels for bumps and holes, but not much suspension apart from that, and you will feel it. Also, the seat is on the small side, and the overall quality of this model feels wobbly and not that great to me, to be honest.

On the other hand, I would suggest stroller systems with a longer backrest in the seat, and also a little softer-riding chassis. My suggestion would be the Espiro Only, Joie Versatrax, and an outlet Concord Wanderer would also work nicely.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
