Oyster Zero or Uppababy Minu for a 6 year old devil that needs her pushchair to go to school

26 Sep 2020

Hi,

I am wavering between both although I have nota been able to try the oyster. My daughter is a diablo and still needs a pushchair to go to school. I would be doing 6 kms a day with it. My daughter is quite small (107 cms/16 kgs). We own a Yoyo and she still fits in it, but I need something a bit sturdier. I am wondering about how smooth the oyster is compared to Yoyo 🙂

Thanks!!

Hello!

If you're ok with the small wheels of the Yoyo and just searching for something sturdier, I would probably go with the Minu. For its size, it's truly very sturdy. The Oyster Zero is great and maneuverable, even though a very lightweight stroller (more 'soft' feeling when you hold it), and with a super-wide seat, which you don't really need if she's not large.

Overall, however, I would probably think of something like the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 more for such an old child. It's folding system, maneuverability, and height in the torso part fit this purpose even better, in my opinion.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
