Stroller system suitable for some terrain to replace my Junama Impulse Colors+limited budget- which?

12 Mar 2020

Hello there,

I'd like to ask for a recommendation. We have bought the Junama Impulse Colors pram/stroller system. According to reviews we've read, this model should be able to handle some all-terrain. Unfortunately, I've come to see it differently. Maybe because of the gel-filled wheels (we hoped this type of wheels would be ideal for handling the terrain) or simply because of the type of chassis, but as soon as we ride through the lawn or a forest footpath, the little one jumps like crazy in it, and pushing isn't particularly easy either. I'd like to try air-filled wheels on it, but they're not available to purchase... ☹

So - I would like your recommendation for a stroller with a similar design (ideally, a 2in1 stroller system as my child is only a month old). The stroller has to be able to handle not just smooth pavements but also pathways through fields or forests. I am not looking to take it for ultra-demanding mountain hikes, only some occasional off-road trails. It needs to be reasonably priced too. We wanted to visit the countryside in the spring, but I'm not sure our stroller will be able to handle it... ☹

Thank you :-*
Lila

Hey there!

With quite a limited budget, I would go for a second-hand stroller. To be honest, for example, the Baby Jogger City Versa GT would be a massive improvement compared to your Junama Impulse Colors. Style-wise, it is an entirely different stroller, but the way it is designed is so much more practical and functional.

If you are looking for something similar to the Junama, perhaps you would like to look at Bexa strollers. The Baby Design brand is also worth checking. I would have a look at the ABC Design Salsa 4 Air – the suspension is really nice there. Overall, the Salsa 4 Air - even the seat unit - is more modern and spacious.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
