The beautiful, colorful Bexa Cube stroller system. What is your opinion? Are there any similar ones?

Hello.

I want to ask your opinion on the colorful Bexa Cube. I have heard quite a lot of praise for this stroller system, even though a lot of parents complained that it is rather big and heavy. I am wondering whether it would be a big deal for me or not. We own a Skoda Fabia Combi with quite a substantial amount of space in its boot. We live in a village, so our walks include various terrains as well as normal roads. I have no intention to use the Cube for regular bus rides and dragging it up the stairs etc.

I like the appearance of this stroller. Although I know, I probably shouldn't base my decision on the looks (compared to the practicality), BUT I've never seen a stroller this beautiful. I am absolutely thrilled about this stroller, and I have the feeling it might fit my style perfectly. I also like the round shape of the carrycot, and I think the wheels are able to handle some terrain as well.

Can you think about other strollers that are super colorful and beautiful, like the Cube?

Do I need to be worried about the weight and size of the stroller if I don't have to use the elevator and public transport? Is pushing a heavy stroller more challenging?

Thank you for the information.

Hello!

Thanks to the colors and patterns, the Bexa Cube is a visually very pleasant stroller system. The stroller is easily maneuverable and equipped with suspension as well as large wheels to provide a smooth ride over uneven surfaces. It is, however, a heavy stroller system. It weighs more than 14 kg, so you will feel it, whenever loading/unloading from and into the car. This is something you need to consider, because a year and a half+ later, with a heavier child on board, the bulkiness is going to manifest itself even when pushing the stroller. Otherwise, it is not too bad. Steering and handling are manageable, especially with the carrycot attached.

As far as the boot of the car is concerned, it will fit - although the Cube is quite bulky, and the fold is two-piece. Therefore, it will take up a lot of space, and you have to expect that most, if not the whole, capacity of the car boot will simply be taken up. It is a toll you for such an all-terrain, four-wheel suspension chassis. Apart from the potential issue of fitting the Cube into the boot of your car, I don't think the weight and size are that important - especially if you're not too small. I would not recommend this kind of stroller for short mums. If you'd be short, pushing the stroller could become a struggle, and you would also have to manage without a clear view of where you're walking.

Regarding similar colorful strollers - yes, they exist, but there's only so many of them. First, I would look at the famous British Cosatto brand, but they offer mostly urban strollers. You may like the limited versions of the Cybex Priam . Especially the super colorful edition (for example the cosmic-themed Anna K). However, it is an expensive, designer stroller. You can also check limited Bugaboo strollers, and the Neonato Puro. The Puro is a potential candidate if you like strollers bursting with patterns, but also it is not the cheapest. An identical or very very similar stroller - I mean the same form and price tag, when thinking about the Cube, doesn't really exist. So, if you really like the Cube that much, I think you will stick with it.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
