Which stroller will fit into the boot of Fiat 500?

Hello!

Since you don't specify the age of your child and the type of strolling you do most (shops, everyday urban walks, something harsher, or even rough terrain ride), I will answer in general. I will not give a complete list here, because that would be a very large number of strollers 😉

It is clear that such a small car will require your stroller to be as compact as possible. I will, therefore, not mention those strollers for really rugged terrain or sports. If you happen to need an all-terrain, robust stroller, I recommend buying two strollers. One for off-road driving will be parked at home. The second, compact, will be folded in the car and used for traveling and undemanding strolls.

The ideal solution is one of the ultra-compact strollers. If you have a baby, it would be best if it would be compatible with a car seat. Then, you can use it from birth. When traveling by car often, it is a great advantage to be able to just click on the car seat. GB Qbit+ All-City would be my favorite here (there's even a carrycot - Cot To Go - available); other practical choices include Mountain Buggy Nano | Babyzen Yoyo]] or Mima Zigi (you can even take them on board of a plane as cabin luggage).

Then there's the category of fast- and flat-folding lightweight strollers. Most of them will fit in such a small trunk, and, similarly to those mentioned above, often also accommodate a car seat (with adapters) or even a carrycot! Some cool choices here would be the Baby Jogger City Mini Mamas&Papas Armadillo (and its higher versions) or something like Nuna Pepp Luxx.

If you need a full-sized stroller system, it is necessary to choose one with the most compact-folding chassis possible. A huge advantage would be a folding carrycot, which, if it doesn't fit into the trunk, you will be able to put somewhere under the back seats. Such a stroller could be the Seed Papilio, whose frame is incredibly flat after folding - thus exceptionally compact. A similar type would also be the GB Zero, but you can find it only second-hand since it is no longer produced. A good option could also be one of the new models of the Quinny Zapp X series - the Zapp Flex, the Zapp Flex Plus, or the Zapp Xpress, whose carrycot is also foldable.

And, lastly - even if it doesn't seem, the Fiat 500 car boot can accommodate quite a few strollers and stroller systems - even those of quite a standard (not small and combined strollers of classic sizes. A few examples: the iCandy Peach, the Bugaboo Cameleon, the Stokke Scoot or the Cosatto Wow are some nice choices that will certainly fit. For some of the larger stroller systems, however, it will be necessary to remove the wheels or to find the best way of putting them in the tiny boot like puzzles - so I recommend considering those that I have already mentioned in this answer more than some random choise and a lot of hoping 😉 If you have the option, be sure to also check out the stroller before buying in a shop. Dealers usually have no problem even with you trying to fit the stroller into the car. You will also find out, if it feels good in your hands, and if it fulfills your needs and fantasies you had about the chosen stroller 🙂

Your -very berry- Eli.
