Hello!

The brand Peg-Pérego includes different models, which makes it almost impossible to give you a general opinion. It would be better to divide them into types/categories, I believe.

When it comes to the Book line, I am not completely satisfied there. It is a very smart concept, including the folding system, the design, and good-sized wheels with ball bearings… And what a shopping basket they have! However, the overall quality I find to be mediocre. Despite the claim that Peg-Pérego strollers feature a good suspension system, they don’t necessarily offer a smooth ride and can’t really handle any worse terrain well. Over time, the joints of the chassis loosen up, and the stroller starts rattling sometimes. Hence some moms get very disappointed with them, calling them rattling or wobbly. However, if you use them (very) sensibly, this probably won’t happen. The seat is less spacious than it seems, but not too bad. I have to admit and conclude that the Peg-Pérego Book line is not to my liking. They are not completely bad. Still, nowadays, there are similarly functioning strollers and stroller systems on the market that are either better or cheaper (I think the Book strollers are already defeated).
The traditional, retro-type prams with the Classico chassis are, on the other hand, quite popular even after being used, and quite comfortable. You won’t go wrong by choosing them if you're looking for such a type of a travel system (and have enough space in your car boot).

I am undecided when it comes to their lightweight strollers and umbrella strollers - there are some good ones and some not-so-good ones. If you are after a tiny, compact stroller, I'd go for the Pliko Mini (from their range). The Tak is also a handy (relatively new) little stroller. Overall, the Peg-Pérego umbrella strollers are, thanks to their extra padding, very comfy for your child, but I think Peg-Pérego is slightly behind, I'd say, not coming up with as many improvements and new designs and functions as other brands. Therefore, it is difficult to justify the higher price of their umbrella strollers. But if you find one for a reasonable price… why not?

And, to finish, I'd like to say I quite like the new Ypsi. The design is smart, but the fold is not as compact as it potentially could be. Still, a very urban stroller for a fashionista mom.

Your -very berry- Eli.

Now, this is your place to ask. I'm listening.
