We purchased the Oyster 3 travel system in Rich Navy with a silver frame and have been using it for nearly 2 years now. I love how stylish the stroller looks. It seems to cope well with all terrains and the wheels can be removed to give them a good clean if they get muddy. The stroller handles well and is nice to push, it has quite a neat turning circle. The brake is easy to use. It has a really generous sun hood and baby has always seemed comfortable. When folded the stroller is a reasonable size, especially if you remove the back wheels. Its fairly straightforward to fold and unfold and can be folded with the seat attached, sometimes the handlebar button sticks a little but this isn't really too much of a problem and sorts itself out after a bit of a jiggle. I really like this travel system and would definitely recommend.
It isn't without some small faults, though - as I said, the handlebar extension button occasionally sticks. The popper on one side of the carry basket no longer stays attached (that could be our fault for overloading the basket). When we had a newborn we never really put the carry cot on the frame as removing it was incredibly difficult, it just always felt really stuck on there - this didn't overly bother us but can appreciate this could annoy others - I saw someone with the same stroller recently and asked their thoughts and they said they just put some Vaseline on the mechanism and it was fine. To me, these issues are fairly minor, and we have definitely had value for money from this stroller. I would buy again.

We only have the seat setup. So far I haven't found any minuses. The only thing for me is that it is a bit low, but before we had a Neonato Puro and that is a high stroller. Compared to other strollers it is not that low. It's super light and goes really easy - almost by itself. It is great.

After long consideration, we decided on this pram. It is very compact and relatively lightweight. Since we live on the 3rd floor without an elevator, we needed something compact. This requirement the Oyster meets perfectly.
Especially the seat part stands out in the compactness area - it can be folded in one piece with the chassis and carried like a suitcase, which is amazing. It can also be facing in the parent direction, which is also a bonus. In essence, I do not have reservations on the seat part, perhaps up to a headrest pillow that cannot be detached.
The bassinet is not as great, unfortunately. First, it's small. I liked it's small and compact, but our little one outgrew it at the end of 4 months so we had to move to the pushchair part because she didn't fit in with a footmuff. A 70 cm mattress is not great. Another thing is that does not offer other positions of the hood - it can only be open or closed, nothing in between, which is a shame. And, also, in my opinion, a sunvisor against the sun is missing on the hood.
As for driving, it is super nice to push it around town. It's very easy to push. It can tackle light terrain, too, but really only light. I also pushed it on really bad, broken sidewalks in a vineyard part of our town, but that felt like torment. However, if you are looking for a nice, good-quality, well-made urban pram, the Oyster 3 will serve you nicely and will meet your expectations.

The carrycot felt a bit narrow but we love the seat. The handle could be sturdier but it's a durable pram nonetheless. Very fashionable. I just mind the head rest in the seat as it's difficult to fit in any seat liner.

My baby is 3 mths and 61 cm long and over 14 pounds. When can I put him in the stroller?
Hey, Jade,
If your little one cannot stand the carrot, you can put him in the seat even now. You need to make sure the seat is fully reclined, though; a 3-month-old baby cannot be in a sitting or semi-sitting position. You will be able to raise the backrest without hurting the baby when the baby sits by itself, without any help - which can be anywhere between 6 and 12 months of age.

It can be done, as far as I know, by sliding it off somehow. It is not an easy task and I also recommend, if you truly go for it, making pictures or better yet, camera footage of how it was before and how you removed it (to be able to put it back on again).
I personally would not really machine wash it, though, stroller fabrics tend to fade or get damaged after that. I would hand wash (or if machine washed, the gentlest program there is), and with the harder-to-remove fabrics, I would actually rather keep those on and hand-washed them on the frame. No, as far as I know, the headrest cannot e removed in any easy way that would not also look weird, design-wise.
Is the Oyster 3 footmuff worth buying - will it fit into the stroller along with a grown-up toddler, e.g. 3-4 year-old?
Is there a foot apron compatible with Oyster 3? (Oyster Zero apron does not seem to as it doesn’t cover legs properly in Oyster3 :( ).

For a 3-4 years old, an Oyster 3 footmuff - nor any other, to be honest - will not be enough to really cover the child. At such an age where the kid is supposed to walk more than to sit (or at least go from one to another often), a footmuff is rarely necessary- usually just good winter clothing + a blanket is enough. Definitely would not get the Oyster 3 footmuff here, rather go to a stroller store and try a few out, but you might end up rather getting a thick blanket and good overalls for you little big one.
P.S. I quite liked the Lodger footmuffs, and they fit even a 3 years old, BUT it was a bit of a tight fit. The larger Lodger Explorer one that is already discontinued was even larger; try checking classifieds.

Is the slightly rattling handle something to be concerned about?
Hey,
I would mostly say NO, don't be concerned too much. It is a small issue of the Oyster 3 by Babystyle, and a similar one can be found on telescopic handlebars of other sofisticated prams (like a [[cybex-priam-3|Cybex Priam[[ - and it is not overly noisy on the Oyster.
The only time I would be concerned about this would be if you plan to use your stroller on heavy terrain very regularly. In that case, I would get something larger and sturdier because a lot of strain damages the joints of any stroller, and if the joint is on the looser side already, it just might get looser and noisier over time even more.

Yes, sure, I did measure it with the headrest extended, and my measurement of the seat back for the Babystyle Oyster 3 was 49 cm. I did fit a 3yo inside with the canopy up high if that helps.
