We had it from the birth of our daughter up to her circa 3 1/2 years, and we combined it with other types. It was with us on all of our vacations. It tackles any sidewalks, gravel roads, and even sand easily. The only problem was a real forest terrain.
I liked that my child slept on an almost-flat surface. This first-gen model has an extendable sitting space, meaning you can enlarge the surface where the child sits/lays. The storage is incredible, large. The generous hood and a lightweight frame make it a versatile helper. If you live in the city and travel rather often, I strongly recommend it.
