Strollerbase - Everything you need to know about strollers, pushchairs, buggies, travel systems - and more.
The Bugaboo Gecko replaced the older Bugaboo Frog along with the Cameleon. It was released in 2005.

The Gecko is a lower version with simpler features. It is also smaller, lighter and more affordable. The front wheels have a suspension system without visible springs and without the possibility to adjust the suspension. The handlebar also cannot be adjusted. There is no bumper bar on the carrycot and the seat frame. The seat is reclined with a different mechanism. You cannot change the textiles and hoods on the Gecko, and it also comes in fewer color choices.
