- price - its relative affordability, at least on Amazon and similar platform, is, to me, a huge plus
- a pleasant center of gravity and a nice push and curb-popping
- the rubber wheels are a wee bit larger than those of the competition (not large, though)
- suspension is mild but works well
- a reasonably wide seat unit with enough space to the canopy to accommodate an older toddler as well (we were mostly using it with our 4yo)
- a lever-operated backrest that lies flat enough for small babies
- a more [[article:nomuremese|upright seat]], compared to almost every ultra-compact we tried out
- a compact auto-fold that needs almost no strength on your side, just release the handle buttons and "throw" the handle forward (great with a kid in your hands)

At first sight, I didn't love it, to be honest... it felt like it could have many flaws. Apart from the hood sturdiness and the too-soft leg rest, I didn't find much more negatives... and that makes the Goody a good choice in my eyes (85 %).

It is almost perfect! The only thing I kind of do not like about it is the canopy wire in the front - it feels flimsy, and it only clicks into one open position. Apart from the canopy, I like how awesomely compact it is; the fold is truly one-handed and automatic, and... THE SEAT IS UPRIGHT! I don't know if because of the lever-operated mechanism or just made so, but I tried to find a travel buggy with an upright seat, and this one is the only one that met this requirement I found. So happy with that!

It's fantastic. Of course, not for terrain, but for everyday errands, shops, and so on (we have a toddler already)... 👍 And - we have a hatchback and our larger pram was a pain to load in the boot. This is such a relief...
The only little niggle with it is the brake - I sometimes accidentally activate it with my foot.
I can honestly recommend it. It's a good push and a good quality. And the fold is magical...

Wonderfully small and helpful. I got it from amazon, the delivery was super fast, and I only needed to attach the wheels. Easy-peasy! Maybe just a bit heavy for the type (but they claim a 22kg weight capacity, even though I am not sure if a 22kg child would fit in it).

I actually bought it because of those beautiful wheels - it reminded me so much of Mima Zigi (which I find super beautiful but a bit too expensive for my taste)! And, of course, the super-easy fold... it really folds almost by itself (you just need to "start" it).
I like that the leg rest is not short; on the other hand, I would love the backrest to be a bit longer. For occasional rides and traveling, it should be enough, I believe - we didn't yet have any big problem in that area, but let's see how it will grow with our DD. The higher weight (for this pushchair/buggy category) is balanced with the high, 22kg weight capacity. I don't think, though, that a 22kg child will still fit in the Goody!
It seems like a good(y) buggy for that price, so I would say I can recommend it - mainly if you need an occasional ride and a lot of folding/traveling!

I love the fold and the overall design, but I am really irritated by how the upper handle opens up (unfolds) when I grab the folded stroller to carry it, making me having to push it back closed again. OK overall, but I wish this didn't happen as much.
I love the fold; it makes my life so much easier when in a hurry or while traveling. I do, however, wish for a longer laying surface since my boy likes to nap in the stroller. The hood is also more for decoration - I find it too short (for a smaller child - I guess with a taller one, it will be better). Good buy for that price, but some details could be better thought-of.

Has anyone reported issues with the swivel of the front wheels? I’ve oil it, but one wheel is more sluggish than the other making it hard to turn. Thanks

I don't know about this as a recurring problem. It may be though that either something (like hair) is stuck and the wheel needs cleaning, or that a joint got misaligned. If cleaning is the issue, you can do it yourself, checking the wheel thoroughly, but if there is some damage, you will need to replace the wheel, probably. Better to consult the place you bought this, or Chicco's customer service.
Hello, the brake on my goody stroller is constantly activating. It's always been a bit sensitive that way especially on uneven ground but now is doing it on flat surface too. Do you have any advice how to rectify this please.

The problem you're describing I did not encounter, but it most certainly means an internal looseness/some kind of damage to the joint. You will need to contact any stroller service - ideally, the seller you bought it at or the manufacturer/any distributor in your country, or the Chicco customer service HERE. They will have to advise you either with your warranty (if applicable), suggesting a retailer to help you, any spare part you need if you need one, or issuing a replacement piece. Do try to find an invoice for the buggy if you can, it usually helps a lot.
You can try to ask your partner to tighten the brake, as there is something loose in there for sure, BUT if you nor he knows what is wrong, you might end up doing more damage than good. That is why try to get their opinion first, even if making and uploading a video on YouTube just to show them what is happening.

Maybe my question ties more into the decision-making of what kind of a pushchair do I need, but in some way is attached with the Chicco Goody stroller.
I live in an urban area although some streets are not very plain (the sidewalks are not even), but I don't think I would need an all-terrain stroller. That's why I've been looking for a more light-weighted stroller that can be easy to fold, manoeuvre, and store (living in an apartment). The type of strollers I've been looking are Cybex Mios; iCandy Lime; Easywalker Charley or Harvey and Joolz Hub+ or Aer. Some of these are a bit on the heavy side (more than 10kg) but they definitely look more sturdy and high quality.
On the other hand, I've started to check the real lightweight kind of stroller, like this one - the Chicco Goody; Cybex Eezy S, etc. due to the weight and less bulky look.
My main concern is about the durability and sturdiness of these strollers... I understand we cannot have everything - lower price, lightness, and the best durability, but I just find it very hard to understand if these "buggies" would last for the full 3 years or even for a second child. When I look az them it just doesn’t feel cheap and therefore maybe less long-lasting.
This Chicco Goody itis currently at a very competitive price and based on some customers' comments it seems that some people just use it as a second option, it really makes me wonder if this can be considered an all-day usage stroller. Overall, does the visible materials quality of the stroller should be enough for me to understand if they are going to last? Are lightweight buggies a safety option for a baby?

I'll firstly refer you to this article about ultracompacts - plane-friendly strollers and their features making them a harsh choice for every day. The Chicco Goody definitely being one of them. I mean, I had it in my hands, tried it out, even thinking about more of a large review to do - and I like it, to be honest. The fold is nice, the space inside good for the type and the reline type and the rather upright seat are quite unique. The thing is, even if the quality feels good (maybe apart from the canopy, that feels like it could be sturdier made), I am not sure I would rise such a small-ish size pushchair for every day and expect it to last. The chassis is built so that it folds down small, not to be the sturdiest for a long period of use.
If I were to look up something compact enough yet long-lasting for an older toddler as well as maybe a second child, I would most certainly look at mid-size world-facing buggies like the Baby Jogger City Mini GT2, the Thule Spring, or the TFK Dot2/Baby Jogger City Mini Zip from the smallest-folding long-lasting ones.
I hope I helped, I mean - yeah, the Goody is certainly a nice option for shorter walks and shops and folding, even every day - but for everyday more-hour use in the streets and even grass or so, you could do better, longevity-wise.
Always think of a priority when choosing the right stroller - is it everyday ride and longevity, or a very small size and a lightweight stroller..?
