Chicco I-Move
The Chicco I-Move is a stroller with a specific chassis oriented around the central joint, around which it can be rotated 360 degrees. The reversibility of the carrycot, seat unit or car seat is thus achieved without removing them from the chassis. All you need to do is lift, tilt, and rotate the handlebar after pressing a foot pedal. The futuristic look of the I-Move is complemented by a unique design of the seat featuring a T-shaped bumper bar seat, as well as the stylish wheel rims. The brake in the form of a lever at the side of the handlebar makes your life easier too.
The seat unit is very softly padded and fully adjustable. You can, therefore, use it right from birth. Another one of its advantages is the easy adjustment of seat belts without the need to remove them completely from the seat frame. A seat liner is included with the seat unit automatically. The spacious carrycot can even be used in the car (instead of a car seat) if you combine it with the car kit. What is more, its shaped mattress in the carrycot is well ventilated. The 3in1 stroller system Trio I-Move also features a conventional car seat as well as essential accessories. What’s the expiry for the car seat from the date of purchase?
Hello, Div!
A car seat should be used approximately six years at the maximum. The plastic parts, the fabric, all weaken with use, sunlight, and strain that is done to it by the child's weight, the carrying it, the washing of the textiles, etc. So, unless the car seat was in an accident (in which case you need to get rid of it immediately after), **after 6 years (maximum 7 according to some manufacturers) it is already not suitable for use.
That is also why if selling or buying a pre-owned (used) car seat, there's no point in putting up one that was already used by 2-3 (and more) children if they weren't extremely close in age. Always be aware of the time and don't be afraid to ask it (and saying no if there's no clear answer).
An old car seat is OK to give to a hospital to only carry children around inside - but not for use in the car.
