A beautiful, "designer" stroller. Great for spring/summer. I don't recommend it much for winter because of the fabrics used - I find them a bit thin. Anyway, I was very satisfied.

This stroller is really lightweight. At first, we only bought it to use as a stroller only - just with the seat unit. Now, for our second child, we decided to buy the carrycot for it as well. It folds easily and is very compact, which is great for traveling with it.

I am sorry but no, the GB Maris carrycot doesn't fit other GB stroller models, not this one either. The attachment system of the frame is simply different.
If you have a problem finding a carrycot to this stroller, consider using the car seat adapters and on them, the Cot to Go.

The problem finding the right carrycot stems from the model being discontinued and no longer produced and sold. So all the original GB Carrycot Gold are probably sold out and if you want the original fit there,e you need to be searching for them in classifieds, see who is selling a used one...
The Cot to Go will fit, but only with adapters (Cybex/Maxi-Cosi style). Yes, it is smaller as it's probably the most compact bassinet out there. It is, however, a good option if you won't be able to find the carrycot that fits this frame.
Another way to approach a from-birth use would be to get a newborn wedged cocoon - I would go for Quinny cocoon or the Babystyle Egg insert - and use the seat unit from birth with it. The insert with the wedge will make the seat flat enough to be used from birth, instead of a carrycot.

I understand where you're coming from - the strollers and their frames are very, VERY similar in functions as well as shape. The attachment system of the GB strollers and their 'Carry Cot Gold' is, however, different than the one of the Cybex strolers (Cybex Balios M, Cybex Iris-Air and their 'Carrycot M'), so no, they won't be interchangeable, Cybex one doesn't fit the GB (and vice versa).
You only can use the GB Carrycot Gold on the GB frame, and the Cybex Carrycot M in the Balios or Iris, sorry.
The carrycot and their attachments are in the included pictures to compare.

The lightweight GB carrycot fitting the GB Beli, Sila, Biris lines is a simpler one, and it was NOT certified for overnight sleeping. The usual day naps and so on are just fine; for overnight comfort, I would most certainly get a crib instead.
For a super occasional (emergency, like one-time overnight stay in a hotel, for example), many mums do that even with a non-certified carrycot, but it is not advisable since the airflow inside might not be enough... And you can always ask to borrow a travel cot ther

Hello, this depends very much on the county you live in. Anyway, it was discontinued not that long ago, so it's not really in many shops available nowadays. I would suggest looking at personal ads, and eBay is a place you can still find it (even new).
