if you own(ed) it, own it ;-)
parents say thx^^
  • So so much storage space
  • Spacious seat
  • Headrest
  • Everything is adjustable to fit the child and grow with it
  • It pushes almost by itself; it is very easy to push
  • Complete lay-flat
  • Suitable for sports
  • Easy to fold and unfold
  • Doesn't take up much car boot space

The best stroller, perfect in every aspect. We own the TFK Mono Air Premium, and we're incredibly happy with it. We use it for city strolls, sports (running as well as inline skating); it also works great in forest terrain.

Your questions about the TFK Mono

1)

What’s the difference between a Mono and a Mono2?

Hey, Isacs,

The Mono 2, apart from a little sleeker design of the hood and the fabrics, has updated wheels, a bit larger seat unit (=more space for the kid), and offers a lie-flat position option in the reversible seat as well.

Hi!

We have bought a TFK Mono and I was wondering which baby car seats is it possible to combine with?

Kind regards,
Kristine

Hi, Kristine,

You will need to buy adapters to pair it with a car seat. There were Maxi-Cosi and also Britax adaptors available, meaning you can pair it up with not only Britax, but with the MC adapters, also Maxi-Cosi, Cybex, Nuna, BeSafe, Kiddy, Joie, clek liing, and more with the same Maxi-Cosi style of attachments system car seats. So the only question is availability - you should contact the seller or any other TFK distributor, ask about car seat adapters, and order those you prefer - my personal choice would be the Maxi-Cosi set as that accepts more car seat brands.

Hi! We own the TFK Mono and we wonder whether it is suitable for travelling by plane? We would really like to avoid buying a new stroller just for travelling as tsk mono is just great.

Malgorzata

Hi, Malgorzata,

You can travel by plane with a stroller with most airlines as the baby's free luggage. The rules are of course a bit different from airline to airline, but if your baby is small, it is almost always allowed. As a carry-on, of course, you won't be able to take it on board as it is too heavy for that, but be sure to inform yourself of the possibility of the baby's luggage, which would mean you take the stroller with you to the plane and give it to the stewards when boarding - they'll give it back to you when getting off.

Hi Eli,

Our apartment lift is rather small (Length: 112cm, Width: 62cm). We are wondering if the handlebar is set to the shortest length downwards and the front wheel swiveled towards to shorter side, what will the total length be?

Thank you!

Hello, there!

I believe you should be just fine. The total length even without pivoting the push bar downwards is about 111 cm, which means that after rotating it to make the base shorter, you'll fit this jogger in your lift. Of course, you will have to squeeze in, too, so it will be a bit tight, but I think you'll do just fine. I am sorry I can't tell you exactly how long (short) will it be as I don't have it at hand, but you'll save about 25-30 cm in length to get yourself in (meaning the approximate length of the stroller will be about 81 cm).

So yes, even if maybe a bit tight, you will be OK!

Dear Eli,

We want to buy Tfk Mono sport without carrycot (combi unit). Is it possible to carry the baby from 0 months?

If yes, could you please suggest an accessory to reduce the space in the seat and improve the comfort for the baby?

Thanks in advance

Hello, Tomponzimi!

Yes, it is, as the front-facing seat unit can lie flat, the pushchair unit can be suitable to use right from newborn if you wish so. You are, however, right, the large, spacious seat will be quite spacious, I mean too spacious for such a tiny baby, so a room-reducing accessory is in place.

There are many ways of reducing space, the first being a soft insert kind of carrycot, so not a rigid one. A universally fitting one, e.g. a Hauck 2 in 1 Soft Carrycot or a Peg Perego Kit Pramette, could work for you without being too expensive nor taking too much space after being done with it.

Next, the inserts such as Babymoov Cosymorpho or an Emitex reduction insert (the offer is quite different in different countries so it all depends on where you're living and what's the stores' offer) could be a solution for you. If unable to find anything, just go to a larger bay store around and ask for universal solutions, the sellers should helo you out and show you their offer.

Lastly, a very good footmuff (cosytoes) will do the trick even without a dedicated reduction insert or soft cot. I loved a Lodger Bunker or Explorer, and Bugaboo also have great winter footmuffs, but there are many, even those more rigid ones or those fluffy ones (like Elodie Details, Bjallra of Sweden, and so on). With a warm, safe footmuff, even a small baby in a larger seat will feel cozy and safe and surrounded - the more so if you get a universal apron (foot cover) or a blanket with elastics on the sides for your stroller with it. For leg covers, a baby store will, again, also help; there are many on Amazon or Aliexpress as well, Junior Jones offers such thing, and so many more brands, different in every country.

So there are your options, I wish you all the best!

Does the combo bag/seat need to be removed to fold it properly?

Hello, Kam,

If I understand you correctly, you're asking if the chassis can be folded with the 2in1 combination of the bassinet-seat part. If that is so, the answer is no, unfortunately. If using the carrycot-seat unit 2in1 part, you need to remove that part first and then fold the frame.

The pushchair's frame only folds with the world-facing seat.
